Requirements

  • Degree desired; equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree; high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 to 5 years of procurement supply chain experience
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of Microsoft Office products required, specifically proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Contract processes and procedures
  • Business Analyst experience
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills

Responsibilities

  • Implement procurement strategies to maintain security of supply and optimum value for money
  • Collaborate with internal departments to determine procurement needs
  • Source and manage suppliers, negotiating agreements to secure advantageous terms
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements
  • Utilize procurement systems for efficient purchasing processes
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products
  • Oversee inventory management and maintain accurate procurement records
  • Identifying system or process improvements that increase efficiency, compliance or reduce cost to the business
  • Monitors and reviews all contracts and agreement documents and notifies the contract regarding the required adjustments on an ongoing basis.
  • Identifying system or process improvements that increase efficiency, compliance, or reduce cost to the business.
  • Support Procurement, and contracting activities related to vendors.
