About The Position

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support a high-volume purchasing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on managing purchase requisitions and purchase orders within SAP, ensuring requests are complete, accurate, and processed efficiently through the procurement workflow.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in SAP, and proactive in resolving issues so purchase orders move smoothly through the system without delays.

Requirements

• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactional work
• Effective communication skills when working with internal teams and vendors
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or semiconductor environments is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) within SAP
• Identify and resolve issues such as missing information, incorrect vendors, or approval gaps
• Convert approved PRs into purchase orders (POs) and release them in the system
• Collaborate with engineers, internal teams, and vendors to resolve purchasing or order issues
• Track requisitions and follow up to ensure orders are processed on time
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and support procure-to-pay workflows
• Assist with vendor setup, documentation, and purchasing compliance when needed
