About The Position

As a Procurement Specialist, you will support procurement activities, including bid specifications, RFP/RFQ coordination, and contract administration. Your role will involve assisting with vendor communication, bid openings, and evaluation processes while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local procurement regulations. Maintaining procurement files, documentation, and reporting is essential, as is collaborating with internal departments to support their purchasing needs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement, contract administration, or purchasing.
  • Prior public sector or government procurement experience strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local procurement regulations (HUD experience a plus).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
