Requirements
- One year of experience performing technical purchasing or contract management work
- A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, project, or operations management, or a related field
- An equivalent combination of experience and training
- Meet the PA residency requirement
- Be able to perform essential job functions
Responsibilities
- Support drafting of bid invitations, quotes, and vendor evaluations based on best value criteria
- Assist staff and vendors by explaining regulations, methods, and sourcing strategies
- Analyze contractual and fiscal details to ensure alignment with laws, policies, and sound business practices
- Research procurement requests and recommend appropriate contracting approaches
- Facilitate scoring meetings, help develop criteria, and assist with best and final offer processes
- Provide guidance on procurement procedures and help develop training materials
