About The Position

As a Procurement Project Manager, you will lead the development, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of all strategic sourcing and supplier development for large, complex capital or customer projects exceeding $100M in revenue. You will guide end-to-end sourcing strategy, supplier development, and execution of project procurement deliverables to ensure large projects meet cost, quality, schedule, and risk objectives. You will operate as a core member of cross-functional project teams and serve as the primary interface between project management, engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply chain functions. You will report to the Director, Americas Supply Chain and work remotely in the United States. We ask that you be willing to travel up to 25% both domestic and international.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business
  • 5+ years procurement and project/program experience on large-scale ($100M+) projects
  • Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation, cost analysis
  • Experience with global sourcing, new product introduction, and ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle)
  • Capabilities in project management, risk management, and stakeholder communication

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred regulatory knowledge (ISO, AS9100)
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, CPSM/CIPS, or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project-specific procurement strategies aligned to cost, schedule, risk, and technical goals
  • Lead procurement across full project lifecycle; own deliverables and project accountability
  • Lead efforts to identify, assess, and onboard strategic suppliers (capacity, capability, quality) to support project requirements, supported by supply chain, engineering, and business resources
  • Manage supplier performance (KPIs, scorecards, corrective actions) and partner with category teams to reduce risk
  • Lead RFQs/RFPs for complex components and systems
  • Perform cost analysis (TCO, should-cost) and negotiate contracts aligned to margin targets
  • Partner with engineering, project management, quality, and operations
  • Align procurement to project schedules and critical path
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (capacity, single-source, geopolitical)
  • Drive cost reduction and value engineering; track savings and budget adherence
  • Monitor KPIs (cost, delivery, supplier readiness) and report to stakeholders
  • Ensure policy and regulatory compliance
