Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in: Business Management, Supply Chain, Aircraft Management, Other related field
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good computer skills
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work in a team environment to meet department level objectives
  • Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
  • Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
  • Textron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S. export control laws. If a position requires access to information controlled under U.S. regulations applicant must be eligible to meet any requirements to access controlled information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of a variety of functions and/or requirements related to the aftermarket supply chain.
  • Assist with the process improvement opportunities within the parts distribution network.
  • Support the team to provide timely solutions for issues, while considering the effect on the process value-stream.
  • Coordinate regularly with the organization’s stakeholders, including but not limited to: Information Technology (infrastructure and programming), Corporate Global Logistics Team, Facility Maintenance, Internal Customers, External Customers, Regulatory Compliance Team, Service Providers.
  • Assist the team in meeting or exceeding internal and external customer expectations.
