The Procurement Manager plays a critical role in the delivery of the Pearson Accelerator Program, overseeing the procurement function and leading a team of procurement professionals responsible for procurement of goods, services and construction packages for all phases of the Program. This is a strategic and results-driven position responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that support Program objectives, maximize value, manage risk, and ensure the timely delivery of procurement activities. The Procurement Manager will lead sourcing initiatives, vendor management, contract formation, market engagement, and procurement governance while fostering strong relationships with the Client, internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience delivering procurement activities on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects and has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced environments. They possess strong commercial acumen, technical proficiency, exceptional communication and negotiation skills and the ability to develop innovative procurement strategies that drive competition, supplier diversity and operational excellence.
