Gray is seeking a Procurement Manager for the Lexington, KY Office. Experience in the Construction Industry is required. Why Gray? Who we want... A qualified candidate shall have: Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, or strategic sourcing, supply chain management, and/or bachelor’s degree (equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered) Familiarity with purchasing any of the following: Electrical/Switchgear, Mechanical/HVAC, Plumbing/Piping & Equipment, Boilers/Air Compressors, Industrial/Tanks/Pumps, Specialty Process Equipment, Instruments/Controls, Construction Materials (plus but not required) Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to develop technical and construction language to communicate about the equipment and materials we purchase Ability to assist and mentor less experienced procurement team members A desire to grow and adapt to the department’s specific needs Experience and basic command of the most recent versions of Microsoft Office Ability to adapt to new software, such as Procore, Smartsheet, CMIC, Building Connected, Bluebeam, PowerBI (experience is a plus but not required) Discipline and motivation to participate in a team environment Passion for building relationships, collaborating, and developing professionally Commercially awareness, with demonstrated budgeting and cost management experience Negotiation and decision-making skills This position will require being physically present in the Lexington office (hybrid and remote may be considered).
