About The Position
We are seeking a hands-on Procurement & Inventory Supervisor to support purchasing operations and oversee inventory management for a growing Food & Beverage organization. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is early to mid-career and looking to grow within a dynamic company environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, vendor management, and inventory control, with strong attention to cost management and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
- Strong experience with inventory management and inventory control systems
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with ERP or inventory systems
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and finance
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Food & Beverage, beverage distribution, or warehouse operations preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day procurement of raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and minimize shortages or overstock
- Analyze inventory trends and implement controls to improve accuracy and turnover
- Maintain purchasing records and vendor agreements
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to forecast purchasing needs
- Support cost control initiatives and margin improvement
- Ensure timely receipt of goods and resolve vendor discrepancies
- Generate purchasing and inventory reports for leadership
