Requirements

  • Fundamental understanding of procurement and inventory.
  • Effective customer service skills both in person and over the phone to employees, vendors and suppliers as required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be self-starting and self-motivated.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply written procedures.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work well on a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing and/or production experience, preferred.
  • Previous experience with maintenance systems and/or Microsoft D365, preferred.
  • Previous experience operating a stand up forklift, preferred.
  • Knowledge of frac sand processing facilities
  • Knowledge of MSHA regulations

Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts are securely stored in their specified locations, in the correct quantities, based on best practices for inventory management.
  • Assist with preparing work order parts as requested by maintenance prior to the execution of the work order.
  • Coordinate ordering and receiving of goods and services.
  • Enter work orders in Limble.
  • Complete purchasing process using both Limble and Microsoft D365.
  • Perform inspections on received goods to ensure proper quantities of all purchased items meet quality, size, and material specifications.
  • Ensure parts are easily identifiable and controlled.
  • Perform cycle counts on an appropriate frequency.
  • Engage in year-end physical count with Procurement Team and auditors.
  • Establish and maintain various reports including inventory turns, service stock, and safety stock levels.
  • Use Limble dashboards for usage analysis in order to identify peaks in usage trends thereby, adjusting reorder points and quantities to ensure inventory levels meet requirements.
  • Continually improve inventory management processes in order to meet the business needs in terms of timing, on-hand quantities, and reliable operations.
  • Collaborate with Procurement & Inventory Manager and Accounting to ensure accurate month end results.
  • Work collaboratively with Procurement team and act as a back-up to other location when necessary.
  • Unload trailers and efficiently stock inventory within a warehouse environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
