About The Position

The Procurement Organization includes a staff of more than three hundred sourcing managers, buyers, and analysts. Our mission is to deliver cost effective and valued procurement services through strategic, diverse, and sustainable business solutions. Our work requires close integration with all lines of business, finance, and our suppliers. The Procurement Excellence Center (PEC) is a strategic function dedicated to driving procurement transformation, operational efficiency, and value creation across the organization. Within the Procurement organization, the PEC establishes best practices, standardizes processes, and leverages advanced analytics and market intelligence to enable data-driven decision-making. The PEC collaborates with all Procurement teams to enhance capabilities, improve performance, and optimize costs. Key focus areas include market intelligence and analytics, digital procurement transformation, risk management, supplier relationship management, governance, and capability development.

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Data Analysis or a related field at an accredited University.
  • Students must be continuing their education towards their degree during and/or after the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Support Procurement initiatives by conducting research, analyzing data, and developing insights that inform decision‑making, performance measurement, and improvement efforts.
  • Support Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Operating Reviews (DORs/WORs/MORs) by helping track metrics, validate inputs, and prepare summaries and visuals used for leadership discussion.
  • Monitor metric submissions and proactively follow up with users or teams who have not entered required data, including sending reminders and escalating issues as needed.
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement efforts by helping gather baseline data, track improvements, and visualize results over time.
  • Help organize, clean up, and maintain SharePoint sites, document libraries, and repositories to improve accessibility and version control.
  • Assist with preparation of materials for operating reviews, leadership meetings, training sessions, and team communications.
  • Support cross‑functional collaboration by coordinating inputs, synthesizing updates, and following up on requests as needed.
  • Provide targeted, cost‑effective support across policy and procedural documentation, database and repository maintenance, supplier research, and the development of white papers and reference materials to support Procurement initiatives.
