The Senior Analyst, Procurement Excellence will carry out responsibilities to support strategic procurement activities for North American procurement organization. The role will own the management of contract pricing and act as the Procurement systems subject matter expert for the Lactalis USA Business. Additionally, the Procurement Senior Analyst will support budget activities for the corporate procurement team, support transversal projects with the guidance of the Procurement Excellence Director and present project or other material to wide audiences, including members of the Executive Leadership Team. The role will report to the Director, North American Procurement Excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred. A major in in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or IT is an asset.
  • 5+ years of procurement or supply management or operations support experience is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP MM and the Procure/Source to Pay lifecycle is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Internal procurement processes including strong SAP knowledge in Lactalis ECC6 & S4/H platforms
  • Good understanding of LAN & global organizations and structures

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) on SAP MM (P2P Lifecycle) and assist with roll-out and training to additional US entities.
  • Act as the bridge/primary liaison between corporate procurement and plant materials replenishment.
  • Ensure the creation and timely management of Price contracts (Outline Agreements, Purchase Info Records and other associated SAP documents) in SAP.
  • Develop and maintain documentation relative to all Procurement Excellence activities
  • Participate in, or own specific elements of process improvement projects and initiatives (local and transversal) under the guidance of the Director, Procurement Excellence
  • Provide training and guidance to corporate procurement, plant operations and other teams regarding procurement processes and related tasks
  • Lead testing efforts for SAP changes for procurement activities
  • Create complex dashboard and analytics from SAP data to support corporate procurement, procurement excellence or other key stakeholders
  • Support SAP integrations (current & future) using group core model as a framework
  • Provide AP support and invoice/purchase order discrepancy resolution for zone purchasing team.
  • Assist with new vendor and material setup process, document requests, etc.
  • Update all item designations and changes.
  • Assist in compiling, organizing, and maintaining detailed data to maintain specifications for all raw material and packaging resources.
  • Assist Business Process Owner with project management of various purchasing initiatives.
  • Create and share best practices with other purchasing shared services specialists in the zone and with headquarters in France.
  • Work autonomously to drive continuous improvement in LAN Procurement
  • Provide other miscellaneous support for general purchasing functions.
