About The Position

The Department of Fire and Rescue is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to work in a fast-paced environment that serves multiple programs and organizational levels. As the Procurement Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting and managing the end-to-end purchasing process within an organization. This role ensures that goods, services, and supplies are sourced, ordered, and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining compliance with company policies and procurement standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience processing and tracking purchase orders (POs)
Strong experience communicating directly with vendors and suppliers
Ability to accurately maintain and update procurement records and databases
Experience performing invoice matching and reconciliation
Experience supporting sourcing activities such as gathering supplier information and comparing quotes
Working knowledge of ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
