About The Position

The Procurement Buyer will support end-to-end procurement activities for equipment, materials, and services used across Energix’s solar projects. This role is hands-on and operational, focused on vendor coordination, quote analysis, purchase order execution, and ERP accuracy. You will work closely with engineering, construction, finance, and project teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant purchasing.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics.
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP Procurement or similar systems.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors, quotes, and purchase orders simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross‑functional environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in solar, renewables, or construction materials is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Request quotes, follow up with suppliers, compare pricing, and support vendor selection.
• Evaluate bids for cost, lead time, technical compliance, and commercial terms.
• Create requisitions, generate POs, and track approvals in the ERP system (Oracle).
• Maintain accurate data for requisitions, POs, delivery status, and invoice flow.
• Monitor order progress from issuance through delivery; resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement files, pricing history, and vendor records.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and finance to ensure materials meet project needs.
• Stay informed on pricing trends and availability for solar-related materials.
• Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and cost control.
