About The Position

The Procurement Buyer executes supply-plan purchase orders using the correct vendor, pricing, terms, and products. The role processes purchase order creation and edits, handles APX exceptions promptly, resolves quantity and product-quality issues, manages ETA requests and updates, performs open purchase order cleanup, and monitors PORs. The position also creates new SKUs, manages requests for new products, and maintains vendor files on SharePoint. The role supports the East, West, and T&H regions and is based at Simplot Headquarters in Boise, Idaho.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of purchasing, planning, inventory, and/or warehousing.
• Good written communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase order placement from supply plans.
• Transact purchase orders with the correct vendor, pricing, terms, and products.
• Process purchase order creation, edits, and APX exceptions in a timely manner.
• Resolve complaints about quantities or product quality.
• Handle ETA requests and updates.
• Perform purchase order cleanup.
• Monitor PORs.
• Create new SKUs and manage requests for new products.
• Manage vendor files on SharePoint.
