About The Position

About the Role: We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our Supply Chain organization, based out of our Oak Brook, Illinois office. This role supports strategic sourcing and procurement operations for direct materials across the business, helping to drive data-driven decision-making, improve supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities. In this role, you will partner closely with procurement leaders and cross-functional teams to analyze spend, monitor supplier performance, and support category strategies. You will play a key role in strengthening procurement processes, maintaining data integrity, and supporting initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency and resilience. You will add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
  • One (1) or more years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools; SAP experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the food industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier performance insights
  • Supporting category strategies through detailed spend analysis by supplier, category, and business
  • Preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations to support strategic sourcing decisions
  • Maintaining supplier records, contracts, and procurement master data with a high level of accuracy
  • Monitoring supplier KPIs such as on-time delivery, pricing accuracy, quality, and contract compliance
  • Developing and maintaining supplier scorecards and escalating risks based on data-driven insights
  • Identifying inefficiencies in procurement processes and recommending improvements to enhance automation and accuracy
  • Partnering cross-functionally to support procurement best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Supporting sourcing events through market analysis, benchmarking, and data collection
  • Contributing to system enhancements by gathering business requirements and supporting testing activities
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and SOX controls
