This includes analyzing costs, supplier performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost efficiency and improvement and making recommendations to stakeholders. The Procurement Analyst also plays a key role in category management, reporting, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize procurement operations. This position requires on-site attendance (Mon-Thu) with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and 0-2 year of prior relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in procurement and community setup systems, logic, and tools, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of category management, supplier relationships, and construction industry practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and trade partners.
  • Analytical mindset to support cost analysis, reporting, and decision-making in procurement and community setup.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, ensuring effective coordination of procurement and community-specific requirements.
  • Problem-solving skills to address procurement and operational challenges and identify areas for improvement.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and develop strategy including cost analysis and sourcing strategy, supporting Procurement Agents in decision-making.
  • Analyze supplier performance metrics and market trends to identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, improved supplier relationships, and enhanced efficiency.
  • Manage community procurement-setup, including pricing validation and requirements for new communities.
  • Implement sourcing strategies such as cost analysis, negotiation preparation, and implementation of contracts for community and division needs.
  • Facilitate trade partner strategy and communication, to align with cost efficiencies, performance goals and legal requirements.
  • Generate and interpret procurement reports to recommend actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and track budget performance, identifying variances as well as developing and implementing corrective actions for assigned categories.
  • Manage supplier and trade partner relationships to address compliance, risk management, and ongoing performance improvements.
  • Identify and implement risk management strategies related to supplier compliance and potential vulnerabilities in the supply chain.
  • Key contributor of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, supplier outcomes, and community setup efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
