About The Position

The firm is looking for a high-energy, results oriented Procurement Analyst. The individual will be responsible for providing requisitioning, negotiating, and order placement services. Responsibilities include analyzing user requests, soliciting vendor proposals, negotiating pricing, reviewing agreement terms and preparing competitive events / RFPs as needed. In addition, the Analyst will work with internal stakeholders and vendors to drive continuous cost and process improvements. The role requires a detail-oriented, creative individual, who is comfortable working in a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (business related) and 3+ years of indirect procurement experience
  • Sourcing and procurement experience in technology category of spend.
  • Familiar using generative AI tools to enhance efficiency
  • Driven, innovative, results-oriented and persistent with a positive attitude and high interest in problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to actively listen and engage in conversation to uncover relevant information and identify solutions.
  • Quick learner, detail oriented and strong ownership of work. Ability to establish working relationships with all levels of staff, management and vendors.
  • Able to prioritize in a fast moving, constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency.
  • Team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others.
  • Experience with Oracle or Procure-to-Pay systems and Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and deploy sourcing strategies and drive the negotiation of agreements for goods and services across multiple categories of spend including software, hardware, and technology equipment. Additional experience across facility management/real estate related services, HR services, professional services, subscriptions, and general supplies is a plus.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop best in class strategies to deliver value and minimize risk.
  • Identify opportunities for consolidation of suppliers and ways to enhance relationships with existing suppliers
  • Extract and analyze data to support the identification of cost savings, process efficiency, and risk mitigation opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess industry trends.
  • Drive process improvement and efficiencies within the system across the firm
