About The Position

Stefanini Group is hiring a Procurement Analyst in Newark, NJ. This hybrid role involves managing the procurement of Construction Services for the CLIENT Capital Projects portfolio, including Civil, Electrical, and A/E purchase orders, contracts, renewals, and emergent work. The analyst will act as a procurement Subject Matter Expert, focusing on planned and emergent work within a business unit, with the ability to apply expertise across units. Specific duties include supplier identification and qualification, sourcing, RFP preparation, bid evaluation, negotiation, contract development and administration, material and service planning, managing internal expert review protocols, and issuing purchase orders.

Requirements

BS/BA degree and 5 years of procurement, supply chain management experience.
Experience analyzing proposals and negotiating with suppliers to purchase materials and services.
Experience integrating scope and commercial requirements into contracts and purchase orders.
Valid driver license & ability to travel.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word.

Nice To Haves

Experience with ERP systems - Ariba, SAP, CLM.
Experience working in a teaming environment.

Responsibilities

Manage the procurement process for Civil, Electrical and A/E purchase orders, contracts, renewals, continuing to re-source recurring contractual commitments and manage emergent work in support of operations.
Act as the procurement Subject Matter Expert for multiple business units or at the Enterprise level.
