The Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing procurement data, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. This role ensures cost efficiency, compliance, and process optimization by leveraging data-driven insights to improve procurement operations. Illuminate USA is seeking highly motivated team members to help the company grow from a startup to a full-scale, industry-leading manufacturer with $1B - $2B expected annual revenue and over 1,200 employees in less than two years.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–4 years in procurement, supply chain, or data analysis roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data systems and artificial intelligence.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with procurement analytics and cost modeling.
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies and supplier management.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of category strategies.
  • Support commodity managers with global spend analysis, supplier segmentation, and market intelligence to identify cost reduction, performance improvement, and consolidation opportunities.
  • Support RFx processes, ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and business alignment.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership on spend analysis, supplier performance, and KPIs.
  • Track supplier metrics such as delivery times, quality, and pricing.
  • Assist in supplier evaluations and audits.
  • Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and recommend improvements.
  • Support automation and digitalization initiatives within procurement systems.
  • Collaborate with sourcing, finance, and operations teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
