About The Position

As a Procurement Analyst, you will be the strategic link between our engineering, operations, finance, and business leadership. You will leverage data analytics and total cost modeling to optimize our inventory, strengthen supplier partnerships, and ensure our production lines never miss a beat. We are looking for a technical procurement professional with a deep understanding of Aluminum castings, plastic injection molding along with tool life expectancy, who has a proven history of Identify cost reduction opportunities through process improvements, design-for-manufacturability (DFM), and volume leverage.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or Finance, backed by 3–5+ years of procurement experience specifically within casting or injection molding environments.
  • Deep proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Interpretation of large datasets, building complex cost models (TCO/DFM), and converting insights into actionable business plans.
  • Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, and supplier quality processes.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives on initiative and has the interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of material availability, analyze MRP output, manage item master data, and ensure seamless production flow through precise inventory optimization.
  • Function as the subject matter expert for aluminum casting and plastic injection molding, evaluate supplier capabilities—from mold flow analysis to tooling life expectancy—and lead high-level cost modeling.
  • Build and maintain resilient relationships with global suppliers and distributors, lead negotiations, manage OTD (On-Time Delivery) metrics, and collaborate with Supplier Quality on PPAP and material dispositions.
  • Partner with Engineering, Finance, and Operations to influence component strategy, supporting New Product Introductions (NPI) or managing product lifecycles to ensure supply chain resilience.
