About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst Expeditor to join their team within the Strategic Acquisitions organization. This role involves collaborating with the team and suppliers to expedite orders, track deliveries, identify potential new suppliers, and find alternate parts. The work is impactful to the mission, and the individual will be responsible for extracting reports, tracking deliveries, updating the procurement system, researching new suppliers, and reviewing/identifying alternate parts for high-risk or long lead-time items. Administrative tasks may also be required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
1+ years of related experience
Comfortable and experienced in using Excel for reporting and PIVOT creation
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance after hired
US citizenship required
Professional and clear written/oral communication
Ability to work independently and track work daily
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently
Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process

Responsibilities

Extract reports from the procurement system and identify upcoming deliveries
Track upcoming deliveries with suppliers and identify orders that are at risk of being late
Update the procurement system with any shipping updates provided by the suppliers
Research potential new suppliers that could be considered for a new partnership
Review high risk or long lead time parts and work with the program and supplier base to determine potential alternate parts for consideration
Perform other administrative tasks as required by the manager
