About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent to join our Supplier Operations and Performance team in Everett, Washington. This position will require you to integrate and partner with BCA Contracts, Category Management, Engineering, and Fabrication teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in the wire bundle or electrical component categories; experience in Supply Chain Operations; the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; and the ability to work effectively with business partners as part of an integrated team. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • 1+ years of experience working directly with external customers
  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
  • Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
  • Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
