About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent to join our Aircraft Materials and Structures (AM&S) team in Everett, Washington. The Materials Contracts team is responsible for managing BCA’s supply chain contracts for chemicals and composite materials. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and solve complex problems with creative solutions. Come join the Supply Chain Contracts team responsible for many critical components required for our commercial airplanes! Primary duties include managing relationships with external companies and internal stakeholders, and negotiating cost recoveries, terms and conditions, and contract extensions. This individual will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will execute and maintain contracts within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures. Our team is currently hiring (Level 3) Procurement Agent. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing contracts and subcontracts
  • Must be willing to travel 10% domestically and internationally as needed
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field
  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing proposals or contracts
  • 3+ years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles
  • 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)

Responsibilities

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
