Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri. The MQ-25 Program is an innovative and highly visible effort supporting the future of naval aviation. Requirements

Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience working in fast paced environment with strict deadlines.
Experience working both independently and in team environments.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Experience interfacing with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals.
Experience working directly with suppliers and supplier management.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service.

Responsibilities

Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.
Works cross functionally and with suppliers on payment issue resolution.
Collaborates with Quality department on defective or unacceptable goods and determines appropriate course of action.
Complete actions as necessary to resolve issues.
Production and spares pricing and lead-time negotiations.
Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customers’ requirements.
