About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Operations Procurement Agent to join their Functional Excellence - Process Compliance and Visibility team in Everett, WA. This role involves providing operations function guidance and understanding to BCA Supply Chain Operations PA’s through authoring and interpreting command media and Supply Chain Operating Instructions (SCOI). Key responsibilities include maintaining relationships with Category management teams and independent contributors, offering process understanding with a customer-service focus, and leading special projects to streamline, enhance, and shape standard work for the BCA Supply Chain organization. The team is currently hiring for both Senior (Level 4) and Lead (Level 5) Operations Procurement Agent positions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain or Procurement practices & processes
  • 10+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)
  • 10+ years of experience leading projects in a cross-functional environment
  • 10+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Domestic and international travel as needed
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 15+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain or Procurement practices & processes (for Level 5)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree (for Level 5)
  • 5+ years of experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations (for Level 5)
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (for Level 5)
  • 10+ years of experience developing and executing supply chain strategies (for Level 5)
  • 5+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product) (for Level 5)

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and guidance to PA’s on how to manage supply and demand, production schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Assist or advise PA’s as they prepare and execute supplier recovery and other performance strategies, in accordance with contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Consult with internal customers on how to resolve supplier performance issues.
  • Lead special projects to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
  • Participate on supply chain process improvement teams and identify improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier management strategies.
