About The Position
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent to join our SCO – EVT Vendor Asset & BCA Paint team in Everett, Washington. Procurement Agents at The Boeing Company have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the aerospace manufacturing supply chain, gain knowledge of the most advanced technology used in aviation, and get to make a positive impact on the lives of the flying public. Procurement Agents also have many opportunities for visibility within Boeing and have the ability to leverage Boeing’s vast network of experts, geographic locations, and diverse business units to continuously improve, grow, and achieve their goals. Our team is currently hiring for (Level 4)-Senior or (Level 5)-Lead Procurement Agent.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Procurement and/or Supply Chain processes and practices
- 7+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)
- Domestic and international travel 25%
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- Level 5: 10+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Procurement and/or Supply Chain processes
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
- 10+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners
Responsibilities
- Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
- Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
- Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
- Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration.
- Applies this information in a way that contributes to the organization’s strategic plan.
- Practice goal-directed thinking and action in situations for which no routine solutions exist.
- Understand a problem situation and its step-by-step transformation based on planning and reasoning.
