About The Position

Accurate is seeking a Procurement Advisor to join their Client Services team. This is a full-time, permanent role, preferably based in Edmonton, with consideration for Calgary-based candidates. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong interest in technology and hardware, and excellent relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, and colleagues. This role involves working closely with Account Managers, Licensing Advisors, and Project Teams to ensure clients receive the appropriate hardware and solutions in a timely manner. Responsibilities include quoting, order fulfillment, identifying new opportunities, and managing vendor relationships, acting as a crucial link between client needs and technological solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, hardware sales, IT distribution, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of IT hardware and a genuine interest in staying current with technology and vendor offerings.
  • Highly detail-oriented; errors in quotes or orders stand out, and taking pride in getting it right the first time.
  • Strong communicator who can work confidently with clients, vendors, and internal teams at all levels.
  • Organized and proactive; ability to manage multiple open orders and requests simultaneously without losing track of details.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships naturally with vendors, clients, and colleagues, and understand the value of a trusted partnership.
  • Excel at seeing tasks through to the finish line and taking ownership of the outcome from quote to delivery.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an MSP or B2B technology environment is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience and comfortability with AI tools is considered a strong asset. (Our company-approved tool list includes Claude, Copilot, and Gemini.)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound client and internal sales requests quickly and accurately, ensuring the best solution is selected and the client is well-informed on the key aspects of their purchase.
  • Set accurate delivery expectations and provide proactive status updates so clients and team members never have to follow up.
  • Generate accurate hardware quotes, place approved orders in a timely manner, and coordinate shipping and delivery logistics.
  • Track orders from initiation to arrival, keeping clients and internal teams informed throughout the process.
  • Regularly review client environments using internal tools (e.g., IT Glue, N-Central) to identify aging assets and expiring hardware warranties.
  • Present upgrade or replacement recommendations with a focus on long-term value, and communicate findings proactively to Account Managers and clients.
  • Maintain deep product expertise across programs and offerings; keep pricing and item descriptions current and stay up to date with vendor changes.
  • Share product knowledge across teams and provide valuable input during complex client or internal procurement discussions.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with distributors and vendors to ensure timely procurement, competitive pricing, and current product knowledge.
  • Stay informed about product changes and supply chain updates, and leverage vendor relationships to benefit Accurate and its clients.
  • Follow and continuously improve procurement processes to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
  • Maintain clear records of quotes, orders, and approvals so that team members can easily reference order history and status at any time.
