About The Position

Processes and distributes donated goods to meet quality standards and production schedules. The Processor grades donated goods according to quality specifications, sorts them into appropriate bins, and assigns prices. They determine the season of the product, placing off-season items in seasonal bins. The role involves sorting donated goods for quality and determining the proper disposition for sale, salvage, or trash. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, assisting with trash and salvage removal, and participating in required training are also key aspects of the position. The Processor must effectively manage time to ensure work completion, maintain quality control in processing donated goods, and monitor and recognize security, loss prevention, and safety risks, assisting in their prevention. Contributing to team success by involving others in work processes, decisions, and actions is expected. The role requires staying abreast of position-related knowledge, including brand names, and ensuring that the customer’s perspective is a driving force behind customer satisfaction. This involves seeking to understand customer circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs, identifying internal and external customer service issues, and creating solutions. Building customer awareness around the company's mission and identifying and correcting conditions that affect employee and customer safety are also important. The Processor must comply with safety standards, initiate action to maintain daily production targets, and embrace the values, vision, and mission of LLGI. Proactively initiating action to accomplish objectives and seeking to understand individual differences and values to build workplace relationships are also required. Finally, the role involves learning and applying new job-related information in a timely manner and performing other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

Requires basic math skills
Requires ability to complete assigned daily production goals on a consistent basis in accordance to production goal agreement
