About The Position

Copart, Inc. is a global technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform, with over 200 facilities worldwide, connecting vehicle sellers with more than 750,000 buyers in over 190 countries. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Processing Center Processor to play a key role in the administrative and shipping operations of our documents shipping center. The ideal candidate will have one year of office support experience in a customer service role, excellent communication skills, and a high school diploma. This role involves handling call queues, managing total loss packets, performing calls to lien holders and lending institutions, and conducting initial and follow-up calls to vehicle owners/insureds. The successful candidate should be able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate effective prioritization and deadline management, and possess strong attention to detail. Familiarity with a Windows environment, analytical skills for hardware and software problems, and proficiency in maintaining mailing equipment are essential. The role requires collaboration with banks and lienholder entities, identifying and analyzing vehicle title documents within company and Provincial guidelines, and managing the shipping center's shared inbox. Flexibility for occasional overtime and the ability to lift up to 55lbs are also required. A valid driver's license and bilingual French skills are a plus.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Opening/scanning mail received.
  • Handling call queues, answering basic TE questions, giving claim updates, and directing callers.
  • Creating and sending total loss packets according to state guidelines.
  • Making initial calls to lien holders to secure payoff information, Letters of Guarantee, and Copy of Title.
  • Making initial calls to owners/insureds to inform them of packets being sent.
  • Making follow-up calls to owners/insureds regarding needed or corrected documents.
  • Making follow-up calls to lien holders for required documents.
  • Sending revised packets to owners/insureds as needed.
  • Adhering to internal cycle times and auditable criteria.
  • Reviewing mail to ensure compliance with State guidelines.
  • Authorizing "Okay to Pay" to the owner/insured after final file review.
  • Monitoring and working a shared inbox to ensure tasks are completed per company policy, timelines, and contractual obligations.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by management.
