About The Position

Copart, Inc. is a global technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform, with over 200 facilities worldwide, connecting vehicle sellers with more than 750,000 buyers in over 190 countries. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Processing Center Processor to play a key role in the administrative and shipping operations of our documents shipping center. The ideal candidate will have one year of office support experience in a customer service role, excellent communication skills, and a high school diploma. This role requires the ability to work independently or collaboratively, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and pay close attention to detail. Familiarity with a Windows environment, mailing equipment, and analytical skills for problem-solving are essential. The position involves collaborating with banks and lienholder entities, analyzing vehicle title documents according to company and Provincial guidelines, and managing the shipping center's shared inbox. Flexibility for occasional overtime and the ability to lift up to 55lbs are also required. A valid driver's license and bilingual French skills are a plus.

Requirements

  • 1 plus years of office customer service experience
  • High school diploma
  • Proficient in basic office equipment and with Microsoft products
  • Ability to identify/analyze vehicle title documents within company and State guidelines
  • Ability to work closely with State DMV's and Lien Holder entities

Responsibilities

  • Opening/scanning mail received.
  • Handling call queues, answering basic TE questions, giving claim updates, and directing callers to the correct party/team.
  • Creating and sending Total Loss Packets with all required documents per state guidelines.
  • Making initial calls to lienholders to secure payoff information, Letters of Guarantee, and Copy of Title.
  • Making initial calls to owners/insureds to inform them of packets being sent.
  • Making follow-up calls to owners/insureds regarding needed or corrected documents.
  • Making follow-up calls to lienholders for required documents.
  • Sending revised packets to owners/insureds as needed.
  • Adhering to internal cycle times and other auditable criteria.
  • Reviewing all mail to ensure documents are compliant per State guidelines.
  • Approving payments to owners/insureds ('Okay to Pay') to the Insurance company after final review.
  • Monitoring and working a shared inbox to ensure tasks and directives are addressed and completed per company policy, timelines, and contractual obligations.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by management.
