About The Position

As a Processor, you will saw and cut, drill and cope, break and roll material components according to technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards. The posting describes three skill levels: Processor 1, Processor 2, and Processor 3. Employees may also be required to perform other related job duties; the listed duties and requirements are not exhaustive.

Requirements

• Processor 1: Safely operate all hand tools and non-automated equipment.
• Processor 1: Safely operate all material handling equipment.
• Processor 1: Know material shapes, grades, and sizes.
• Processor 1: Read bills of materials (BOMs).
• Processor 1: Follow cut lists.
• Processor 2: Accurately lay out small parts and perform quality control on small parts.
• Processor 2: Operate some automated equipment.
• Processor 2: Know how to perform preventative maintenance.
• Processor 2: Have limited programming skills.
• Processor 3: Operate all automated and manual processing equipment.
• Processor 3: Have advanced programming skills.
• Processor 3: Train fellow employees on processing equipment.
• Processor 3: Troubleshoot equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Saw and cut, drill and cope, break and roll material components according to technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ensure processed components meet design specifications and quality standards.
• At Processor 2 level, accurately lay out small parts and perform quality control on small parts.
• At Processor 2 level, operate some automated equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• At Processor 3 level, operate all processing equipment, both automated and manual.
• At Processor 3 level, train fellow employees on processing equipment and troubleshoot equipment and processes.
• Perform other related job duties as required.
