About The Position

This is a fulltime night shift position working on a consistent 6:45 pm - 7:00 am rotating schedule. Pay starts at $24.40 an hour $1,000 sign on bonus $1 night shift and $1 weekend premium Eligible for all benefits day 1 of hire 8% 401K match

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a food manufacturing environment required.
  • Ability to be Lockout Tagout (LOTO) certified.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dedication to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with customers in mind.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with management and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills plus fractions, decimals and percentages.
  • Basic computer operational skills; able to input and retrieve computerized information.
  • Able to exchange basic informational data (fill out forms/checklists, copy data from one record to another, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
  • Able to provide current, direct, complete, and “actionable” feedback to others, identifying issues and taking appropriate action related to training.
  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
  • Schreiber requires that an employee have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based.

  • Knowledge of products and the dairy industry preferred.
  • Obtain Better Process Control School Certification required post-hire.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow production and product changeover schedule, adjusting as needed to avoid downtime on production floor.
  • Plan and schedule fluid transfers and raw lines Clean-In-Place (CIP) with Filler Operators, Blending Operators, and Separators.
  • Maintain, clean, and sterilize equipment, parts, tools, utensils, and work area, completing Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and ensuring good housekeeping and 5S standards are met.
  • Monitor sterile and non-sterile zones for leaks.
  • Accurately complete all necessary documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDP’s) including batch record entries, cleaning forms, processor logs, work orders, etc.
  • Monitor line graphs and detect deviations in legal trends.
  • Consistently meet production needs and goals; minimize product shrink and downtime.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of all processing equipment and aseptic tanks, contacting maintenance as needed.
  • Learn all ultra-high temperature processing systems.
  • Actively participate in shift exchanges and work team meetings.
  • Identify Critical Control Points (CCP) and monitor, including temperature, pressure, and time.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • This position requires the ability to work with dairy and nut products in addition to other related ingredients and allergens.
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.
