About The Position
The Processor Trainee operates injection/blow molding machinery to support production of plastic bottles and completes periodic machine and product checks. The role involves monitoring machine controls, making adjustments with assistance from buttons, controls, and hand tools, and inspecting products and boxing for defects. The employee works with Quality Control to ensure quality standards are met and completes paperwork required by the department’s quality system. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of machine operating experience.
Nice To Haves
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Plastic molding experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely handle and operate machinery, tools, and equipment while performing job duties.
- Make machine adjustments as needed using buttons, controls, and hand tools, with assistance.
- Dislodge jams in machinery as needed.
- Inspect products and boxing for defects.
- Monitor machine controls to ensure the proper process.
- Work cohesively with Quality Control to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete paperwork required for the department’s quality system.
- Conduct periodic machine and product checks.
