About The Position

The Engineering Technician: Injection Molding serves as an advanced technical resource for complex injection molding diagnostics, process development, qualification, validation, and manufacturing improvement in a high-volume environment. The role investigates problems involving process, machines, molds, materials, controls, automation, auxiliary equipment, and operating practices, and coordinates cross-functional resources to identify and eliminate systemic causes. It applies scientific molding, structured studies, statistical methods, and manufacturing data analysis to establish robust processing windows and improve cycle time, scrap, uptime, productivity, capability, and OEE while maintaining safety, quality, and process-control requirements. The technician supports mold and process qualifications, equipment commissioning and startup, production launches, and manufacturing readiness. They execute technical plans and validation protocols, assess process capability and stability, document risks and findings, and provide technical direction and coaching to technicians, operators, maintenance, production, and other partners. The role also develops diagnostic methods, troubleshooting standards, technical documentation, and molding best practices to support continuous improvement and knowledge transfer. The position requires at least five years of progressively advanced injection molding experience, along with advanced scientific molding and diagnostic expertise. An associate degree, technical diploma, apprenticeship, military technical training, recognized certification, or equivalent combination of technical education, training, and relevant experience is required. Technical training in related disciplines and advanced molding or controls certifications are preferred; a bachelor's degree in Engineering is not required. The stated salary is $36.85–$36.85. The workplace is the office, store, or factory specified in the advert; the company describes a hybrid model allowing work from home up to two days per week, with applicability to the role and team discussed with the People Leader.
