About The Position

Produce Innovations/Loffredo Fresh Foods is hiring a Processor I at its food processing plant in Norwalk, Iowa. Produce Innovations specializes in preparing and packaging fresh-cut, all-natural snacks. The Processor I helps maintain product quality, freshness, cleanliness, and safe operations in a food processing environment. The work is in a cold processing area, typically 34–36°F, with variable temperatures and potentially damp or wet conditions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pay is $15.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak English for use of an automated headset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds or more occasionally.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or exert force of up to 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect produce for quality and remove damaged or spoiled items.
• Be familiar with retail products and packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines, including safe operation of warehouse equipment.
• Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain product freshness.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other assigned duties.
