About The Position

Produce Innovations/Loffredo Fresh Foods is hiring a Processor I at its food processing plant in Norwalk, Iowa. Produce Innovations specializes in preparing and packaging fresh-cut, all-natural snacks. The Processor I supports plant operations by inspecting produce, removing damaged or spoiled items, maintaining clean work areas and equipment, following safety procedures, and ensuring proper product storage to preserve freshness. The role involves working in a cold processing environment and handling warehouse equipment and product.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Operate with integrity and trust.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team setting.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for use of the automated headset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 or more pounds occasionally.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or otherwise exert force of up to 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities
