About The Position

A Processing Ops Supervisor oversees daily operational activities, manages teams, ensures process compliance, and drives efficiency and quality in production or service delivery. This is a 1st shift role, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing at least 20+ employees in a manufacturing setting including performance management responsibility.
  • Organizational and planning skills to coordinate resources and workflows under dynamic conditions.
  • Technical knowledge relevant to the specific operational area, such as production processes, equipment, or service protocols.
  • Compliance awareness to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and coordinating the workflow within a specific operational area.
  • Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff to ensure productivity and adequate staffing levels.
  • Planning and allocating tasks and resources to meet production goals.
  • Monitoring operational processes to ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring products or services meet established quality standards and customer expectations, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing reports on output, attendance, and incidents, and using data to make informed decisions.
  • Addressing employee issues and taking appropriate corrective action where needed.
  • Identifying bottlenecks, operational issues, or inefficiencies and implementing solutions to improve processes and reduce waste or risk.
  • Acting as a liaison between management and frontline staff, conducting briefings, and ensuring smooth information flow regarding priorities, safety, and operational changes.
  • Flexing employees across different areas to ensure proper HC is allocated in bottleneck areas and ensuring proper level of overtime is assigned to meet department goals.
  • Attending Gemba walks with management team to escalate concerns.
