About The Position

The Processing Supervisor - 3rd Shift will lead, coach, and develop a team of processing operators to achieve performance, safety, and quality goals. This role involves overseeing daily processing operations to meet production schedules and efficiency targets, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring accurate documentation. The supervisor will also enforce compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety programs, maintain audit readiness, and conduct safety training and investigations. Collaboration with Quality Assurance to address deviations and non-conformances is also a key part of the role.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing or a similar production environment
Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
To have attended and successfully completed Better Processing School

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct performance evaluations, provide regular feedback, and support employee development plans
Oversee daily processing operations to meet production schedules and efficiency targets
Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner
Ensure accurate documentation of production data, batch records, and operational reports
Enforce compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety programs
Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external inspections
Conduct safety observations, training, and incident investigations as needed
Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE
Work with Quality Assurance to address deviations, non-conformances, and ensure compliance in all areas
Other duties as assigned
