About The Position

The Shift Supervisor will oversee approximately 10 employees. This person will oversee and delegate warehouse and distribution activities to meet established standards, while promoting and evaluating the development of department employees.

High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
Supervision or management experience preferably in a distribution or pick/pack environment
Familiar with WMS, RF equipment, and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Train, coach, motivate, and mentor the work of up to 30+ employees to develop their attitude, work ethic, process, and skills
Lead shift change meetings utilizing shift change form to relay important safety, process and production related messages
Create and conduct performance feedback through verbal coaching, work measurement feedback and PIP’s, incident analysis, and reviews with employees
Facilitate or lead employee conflict investigations, implement resolution and documentation of these incidents
Ensure compliance with all Food Safety Requirements (GMP Audits and FSMA adherence)
Utilize continuous improvement techniques to track performance, implement change, measure results and improve our KPI’s
Collect employee feedback and facilitate change based on the information and solutions provided
Possess and display a genuine positive attitude and work ethic
Ensures and facilitate a safe and clean work environment
Ensure compliance and advocate full support of established company policies and procedures
Assist with employee retention efforts
When required, operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Perform distribution center audits
All other duties as assigned
