About The Position

The Office of Admissions is accepting applications for a Processing Coordinator. Auburn University at Montgomery reserves the right once interviewing has begun to stop accepting applications.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • For full consideration upload a cover letter, resume, and a list of at least three professional references.

Responsibilities

  • Review freshmen, transfer, second undergraduate, unclassified undergraduate, and returning student applicants who are complete and ready for review.
  • Verify and make sure all college transcripts have been articulated.
  • Determine the appropriate admission decision and enters in Banner.
  • Send letters to not-admit students who are not eligible to return; explaining to them the steps needed to take in order to be re-admitted back to the university.
  • Once college transcripts have been received and logged into Banner, evaluate and articulate college transcripts through the transfer admission process.
  • Admit students who are in progress of completing final course work for a particular term.
  • Enter decisions in Banner
  • Accurately enter and maintain student attendance dates using official transcripts, applying sound judgment to estimate term start dates when information is incomplete to ensure consistency and reporting accuracy.
  • Assists with programs during the weekends such as Warhawk Welcome recruitment activities and other extended office hours.
  • Assist with supervision of student worker(s)
