About The Position

The Processing Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and following customer experience principles. The role helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store; follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities also include preparing merchandise for the sales floor, supporting checkout and store recovery, promoting credit and loyalty programs, and contributing to store culture and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities

• Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
