Responsible for monitoring and operating processing equipment and assures production quality standards are met. This role involves constant monitoring and control of plant operations to meet the established operations plan, anticipating and solving problems, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The technician will physically monitor process parameters, complete sanitation tasks, receive and inspect materials, analyze product quality, and maintain logs. Adjustments to equipment will be made to meet desired operating parameters, and supervisors will be notified of any operational or food safety concerns. The position requires assisting other employees and departments for efficient plant operation, regular communication with personnel, and adherence to all regulations, policies, and safety requirements. A customer service attitude is expected, along with maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe workstation. Other duties may be assigned.
