About The Position

In this job you will affix external components on the switch, perform vacuum and fill processes according to specifications, test for leaks and begin reclaim process if necessary. As a Leak Tester you will: Pick and assemble required parts according to drawings, Maintain leak test equipment, Set up vacuum and fill processes according to specifications, Leak Test fully pressurized Switchgear per instruction, Set up reclaim process as needed. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Contribute to team effort by training others in performance of testing tasks as needed. Inspect all work prior to passing it on to the next operation. Document actions by completing production and quality forms. Communicate effectively with others at various levels of the organization.

Requirements

Has a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development
Ideally has 0-1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment
Is able to safely use small hand and power tools
Has good organization skills and ability to multi-task a variety of simultaneous processes
Is able to read and interpret Drawings and Bills of Material (preferred)
Has basic computer skills
Is able to read instructions and understand verbal instructions in English
