About The Position

Compunetix is a leading manufacturer of sophisticated electronics and a developer of converged VoIP, voice, video, and data collaboration and conferencing applications. The Process Technician supports electronics manufacturing by setting up, operating, and troubleshooting through-hole production equipment, maintaining machinery, and improving manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• A 2-year technical degree, electronics training, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in electronics manufacturing and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of material.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic manufacturing documentation.
• Familiarity with IPC standards, including IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot through-hole production equipment, including component insertion.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery.
• Create and modify manufacturing aids and work instructions.
• Order shop supplies.
• Investigate recurring manufacturing problems.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
