About The Position

This role is for a Process Technician III responsible for working on the cleanroom manufacturing floor. The position requires extensive experience in 3D modeling and design, printing, and testing mechanical components. The technician will be involved in process data analysis, troubleshooting, and ensuring consistent material handling procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of experience.
• Extensive experience and proficiency in Autodesk Inventor 3D Modelling and Solidworks.
• Historical hands-on experience in 3D modelling, design, printing and testing mechanical components.
• Proficiency in SPC, MES, and process data analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, specifications, and procedures.
• Understanding of cleanroom operations and contamination control.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Attention to consistent material handling procedures with an awareness of safe material transport according to environmental and hazardous materials protocols.
• Manual dexterity for fine fiber handling and equipment adjustments.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to wear cleanroom garments for full shift.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Hands-on experience with high-count or rollable ribbon fiber products, optical fiber handling, ribbonization, and precision equipment.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
• Experience supporting rapid production scale-up in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D modeling, design, printing, and testing of mechanical components.
• Analyze process data using SPC, MES, and other tools.
• Troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing processes.
• Ensure consistent material handling procedures are followed, adhering to environmental and hazardous materials protocols.
• Work on the cleanroom manufacturing floor for extended periods.
• Handle fine fiber and make equipment adjustments.
• Wear cleanroom garments for a full shift.
