In this position you will report to the Weekday Day shift Plating & Processing Supervisor. As the Process Technician - CAD/TI-CAD/Z-Nickel Plating, you will be responsible for maintaining demand for Production.
Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent plating/processing experience
- Process chemistry background; prior plating experience would be considered an asset.
- Sound working knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers and elcometers.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and work with various hand tools.
- The selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP

- Strong understanding of WHMIS.
Responsibilities
- CAD, Ti-Cad, and Zinc Nickel plating of aircraft components, including preparation of components, to customer specifications and development of work techniques, could also include masking. fixturing, loading and unloading.
- Prep, mask and lacquer as required.
- Tank/chemistry, associated tooling maintenance.
- Adherence to the PM schedule of tanks.
- Act as a cross functional team member and support other plating applications as requested.
- Observe and adhere to all safety and PPE job requirements.
- Requires use of PAPR.
- Communicate and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts.
- Support and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell.
- Multi-task and perform other duties as assigned.
