About The Position

This position is a developmental position to provide experience for becoming a Process Technician I. The role is responsible for achieving Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals, and maintaining Safety, GMP, SQF, and Quality Compliance while performing all daily tasks. Responsibilities include the operation, basic repairs, and maintenance of all production equipment, ensuring equipment operates within established parameters, minimizing downtime, and accurately recording it. The role also involves completing order changes accurately and efficiently, documenting all actions, maintaining quality standards during machine repairs and troubleshooting, and potentially performing quality checks. Daily cleaning per the Master Cleaning Schedule is required, and special projects may be assigned. All other duties as assigned are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Must have completed High School or GED.
  • Must pass the mechanical comprehension test.
  • Must have passed the work skills tests.
  • Must be a detailed oriented person.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must possess exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
  • Must be able to communicate exceptionally well, verbally and written.
  • Must have knowledge of desktop computers and various software.
  • Has demonstrated self-motivation, organization and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in a mechanical curriculum is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving Safety, Quality and Productivity goals.
  • Maintaining Safety, GMP, SQF and Quality Compliance while performing all daily tasks.
  • Operation and basic repairs and maintenance of all production equipment, as per Technical Units (100 Level) Vision Systems-101 Level UTC Printing Systems, including Promotins-101 Level Desco Printing Systems-101 Level All Sacmi and JB Tool Assembly Machines-101 Level.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating within the established operating parameters.
  • Minimizing downtime and accurately recording all downtime in the approved system.
  • Completing all order changes accurately and efficiently and documenting all action.
  • Ensure quality standards and maintained during machine repairs and troubleshooting.
  • May be required to perform quality checks.
  • Performing specific daily cleaning per the Master Cleaning Schedule.
  • May be assigned to work on special projects.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
