About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Process Planner/Manufacturing Technician to join our team and play a key role in developing, documenting, and optimizing our production processes. This position sits at the intersection of engineering and production which is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, technical documentation, and continuous improvement. In this role you will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams from design through final assembly.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on manufacturing knowledge
Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge, AutoCAD, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings
Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Associate's degree or technical certificate in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on work experience
This position is subject to FAA/DOT pre-employment and random drug screening requirements

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, surface treatment, or assembly
Experience creating work instructions, process sheets, or manufacturing documentation
Exposure to shot peening, surface finishing, or aerospace/defense manufacturing environments
Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

Develop and document production procedures and basic tooling for metal part processing
Design part-holding, testing, and masking fixtures using Solid Edge CAD software
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure processes meet quality and customer requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and manufacturability
Contribute to process optimization from design concept through final assembly
