At Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, the Supply Chain team is dedicated to delivering innovative, affordable, and agile solutions. This role is part of the Demand Planning team in Palmdale, supporting one or more Palmdale programs by providing material requirements planning (MRP) support. The selected candidate will attend/chair status meetings, advise management on work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems. They will resolve issues in the manufacturing or procurement process by interfacing with supporting organizations and utilize software such as SAP and shop floor management (SFM). The role requires a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and US citizenship, as the facility requires special access. The position involves Make, Buy, and/or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities within Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions, maintaining production systems integrity for inventory optimization, expediting material flow, coordinating with manufacturing and operations for shop floor control, analyzing production schedules and capacity, and executing plans. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with Supply Chain stakeholders for procured parts, ensuring deliverables meet production schedules, maintaining MRP parameters, and coordinating BOM changes with Engineering.
